New featuresWhere Budokai 1 covers the events of Dragon Ball Z up to the Perfect Cell Saga, Budokai 2 covers the events of the Dragon Ball Z series up to the Kid Buu Saga. OBJECTIVES
In this diary entry, we've asked the "Marvel Super Hero Squad" Game Designer, Phil Anderson to talk us through the Adventure Mode.
Marvel.com: So Phil, what's the story of "Marvel Super Hero Squad" and what connection does the game have to the animated TV series?
Phil Anderson: The animated series revolves around the race to collect powerful objects called Infinity Fractals. The Super Hero Squad (the good guys, led by Iron Man) locks horns with the sinister Lethal Legion (led by the evil Doctor DOom).
You can think of the game's adventure as a "lost episode" of the animated TV series. At the start of the story, S.H.I.E.L.D. discovers a highly-unstable Infinity Fractal in the desert just outside Super Hero City. When the Super Hero Squad and the Lethal Legion battle to retrieve it, it shatters into lots of smaller (but still dangerous) Fractal Shards. The Squad must split up to retrieve them all before Doctor Doom and the Lethal Legion can use the power of the cosmic fragments to take over... everything!
Each of the "middle" chapters of the story showcases one of the core members of the Super Hero Squad—Iron Man, Hulk, Wolverine, Silver Surfer, Thor and Falcon—n their own mini-adventure. Then they all come together again for the big finale!

is an American animation production company. The Marvel Studios subsidiary was incorporated on January 25, 2008 to direct Marvel's efforts in animation and home entertainment markets. Marvel Animation at incorporation included then ongoing animation efforts by Marvel Studios with Lionsgate and Nickelodeon.[7][8] Marvel Animation operates under the Marvel Television division of Marvel Studios.[3]
THEME
The Super Hero Squad Show is an American cartoon series by Marvel Animation. It is based on the Marvel Super Hero Squad action figure line from Hasbro, which portray the Avengers, the X-Men, and various other characters of the Marvel Universe in a cartoonish super-deformed-style. It is also a self-aware parody of the Marvel characters, with influences taken from on the comedic Mini Marvels series of parody comic books, in that the heroes tend to find themselves in comedic situations, and have cartoonish bents in comparison to their usually serious personalities (such as The Incredible Hulk being jovial and good-natured but with "major anger issues"), and is an overall comedic take on the Avengers. The series' animation was produced by Film Roman and Marvel Animation.
LIKES & DISLIKES
Since I’m a Marvel fan I thought I’d give the show a viewing by checking out its premiere and tell you what I thought. Continue on to see my feelings on the series and to check out some pics for the series as well as a list of the incredible voice talent they’ve gathered to play our favourite Marvel characters. The hero team consists of interesting variants of the key heroes from the Marvel Universe including Ms. Marvel and her attitude, Thor and his cool accent, Iron Man and a bunch of cool gadgets, Falcon and his bird, The Silver Surfer who’s literally a surfer dude, an angry and dumb Hulk, as well as a Wolverine and Storm similar to their incarnations in all of the X-Men cartoons. All in all, not too far off from the comics The characters look great and they all wear their most iconic, classic or original costumes from Marvel history. They make for a cool cartoon team but with the sheer amount of characters, each episode will feel pretty random – especially with all the stuff they throw into it and the loads of action in nearly every scene.

Battle of Z
MEDIUM
Battle of Z is a team fighting action title that lets up to eight players battle it out against one another in a gameplay and graphical style similar to those of Dragon Ball: Zenkai Battle Royale. The game can have up to four players in cooperative play, and lets players perform attacks together and heal one another. It also supports online multiplayer battles,[2] and PS Vita ad-hoc connection. A multiplayer restriction in this game is that two players can not play on the same console; the developers say this is due to wanting a player having the best possible graphics in full screen.Battle of Z features over 70 characters, as well as team battles against giant characters such as Great Ape Vegeta, Great Ape Gohan, andHirudegarn.
The game features more than 70 characters. Instead of transformations grouped together into one character, they are actually separated into each transformation each. The pre-order offer comes in with 2 exclusive in-game DLC Characters: Super Vegito and Super Saiyan Bardock, available solely via pre-order across Europe, America, and Australasia. Day 1 Edition includes a bonus DLC code for Goku in Naruto Sage Mode costume.

PLAYER FORMAT
Gameplay[edit]Players can be very successful in high-speed battles on the ground and in the air. The game's key feature is team battle action of four versus four.[3] Teammates share a special energy meter called GENKI Gauge. This meter increases when attacking opponents and, when filled, allows the character to perform an ultimate attack.[4] Any of the teammates can decide to give or use energy from the gauge in order to perform an attack. Playable characters can team up to perform techniques such as Synchro Rush, Meteor Chain, and Revive Soul. Meteor Chain involves partners teaming up to launch attack after attack, following up each other's attacks and timing it so the opponent has no time to counter.[3] Using Meteor Chains is an effective way to get the GENKI Gauge to fill up quickly.[4] Synchro Rush is rushing the opponent at the same time, resulting in simultaneous hits. Revive Soul is reviving a fallen partner, giving them energy to get back in the battle.[3] Also, thanks to Energy Share, teammates can share ki with each others.[4] Villains can team up with Heroes in the game, but they do not show appreciation when given ki or extra energy to heal. There are four different battle types for playable characters:
- Melee Type: skilled at close combat, can combo with melee attacks. Attack Type moves are Kaio-ken Attack, Dance of the Sword, Recoome Kick.
- Ki Blast Type: skilled at long range battle, can make consecutive attacks using the GENKI Gauge. Ki Blast Type moves are Consecutive Energy Blast, Death Beam, Spirit Ball.
- Support Type: powers such as health regeneration and support abilities. Support Type moves are Health regain blast, Fighting Pose.
- Interference Type: adept at abilities that interfere with the enemy's movements. Interference Type moves are Solar Flare, Chocolate Beam, Drain Energy.
OBJECTIVES
Normal Battle: This is a standard 4-on-4 battle. Each team is alloted with the ability to "Retry" a certain amount of times after members are defeated. The first team who drops to 0 in the "Retry" count loses the game.
Score Battle: This is a 4-on-4 battle. To reach the highest score possible, each team has to knockout as many people as possible from the other team in a certain amount of time.
Battle Royal: This is a free-for-all, where every man is for himself. Each player will have to knockout the other and reach the highest score possible. All 8 players will battle for the same and unique crown!
Dragon Ball Grab: 2 teams of 4 players will fight for the 7 Dragon Balls dispersed in the field. The first team who collects all of the Dragon Balls wins the game. If neither team manages to do that in the allotted time, the one having the highest number wins.

Madara can teleport and destroy armies using only summons, Pain can absorb energy, and we haven't even SEEN what Sasuke can do yet.I really like naruto when i was a kid but at time goes by and watching different animes. it made me think that the story became more of going around and around, like... can we end this already? it makes me reminiscent my grade school days about how to explain the end of the water cycle... yeah sounds like this goes on and on"
